Whats Hot...

#1) Jessica Stam replacing Toni Garrn for Fendi. I am loving these pictures. Not to mention they are photographed by Karl Lagerfeld. (Check out the footwear, sexy, sexy, sexy)

#2) I am not feeling some of Dolce & Gabbana's fall/winter. The shoot is nice, mostly set in a casino, very nice, but good lord I highly dislike this pink furry mess. They have some other awesome pieces though, such as dresses with huge sleeves, long gloves used as scarves and as headpieces, a lot of checkered clutches, polka-dot dresses, etc. My favorite piece most definitely is the Marilyn Monroe inspired dress, so fresh.

#3) Kinda cool, Anna Sui made a line for target. Inspired by her fave TV Show Gossip girl.

This picture as well has created quite the scandal in the fashion world because of Madge's age and the way she looks in this photograph. I on one hand find that this is what Louis Vuitton channels through most of the ads. The ad's are usually luxurious, classy and fresh. Just like this one.


I'm thinking a lot of people just dislike Madonna. Therefor they dislike the ad.




Daily Mails take on Madonna's fresh Louis ad

"Madonna somehow always manages to hold the ageing process back, however for her latest campaign she seems to have turned back time. But the lengths to which Louis Vuitton has gone to keep Madonna looking eternally youthful may be a bit extreme, with the Material Girl looking almost plastic in this latest ad. In particular, the fingers of her right hand seem to have been stuck on - are they someone else’s? Or just bleached to white through airbrushing?

Photo editors seem to have shaved at least 20 years off the megastar, leaving her looking more like Sophie Dahl than her true 50-year-old self. In place of her typically veiny hands - renowned for giving away the true age of a woman - her fingers were smooth and slender. In the ad, Madonna looks ethereal as she reclines in a blue armchair were a burgundy taffeta dress, lacy fingerless gloves and pink bunny ears - similar to the antenna-style headwear she wore to the Costume Institute Gala earlier this year.

While Madonna is in undeniably good shape for a 50-year-old woman, she looks far too young to be a mother-of-four in the new shots for Louis Vuitton’s Autumn/Winter ‘09 collection. The Vogue singer posed for acclaimed photographer Steven Meisel, who shot her controversial 1992 book Sex, who also took the previous season’s ad. The latest campaign makes Madonna look a little more innocent than what has come before. The last Louis Vuitton advertisement in December was certainly more raunchy.

The singer has reportedly been paid £6.5million for the campaign."

Such a huge difference from her Spring/Summer 2009 Shoot for LV.

Badgley Mischka Platinum Womens Humbie Open Toe

Oh Man.

I know my obbsession with sequins is kind of ridiculous but these Badgley Mischka shoes are Un-Buh-Leave-A-BuLL!!!

Badgley Mischka is mostly inspired by 1940's Glam combined with today's modern couture. These shoes are a prime example of this combination.

The best thing about these is that you can push the sequins one way and it will be one color and you can push them the other way and they are another. Completely genius.

I fell in love with them. love love love.

The woman that worked at the store said they were 300$ which is a bit steep considering most websites they are posted at 190-200 at most. I could probably haggle a good price out of her.

I Cannot Believe It.

My Mom is a lucky lucky woman..

My mother used to be one of these big spender shoppers. When she lived in New York she was always buying big brand names (See D&G, Gucci, Chanel, Prada) She has now become one of those women that don't splurge ever (good for her) but instead of buying her clothes at expensive boutiques she finds treasures in consignment stores, and salvation army's.

I cannot believe my mothers luck recently

She found a beautiful pair of D&G shoes. And A LV purse.

Like are you kidding me?
Not only are they both authentic, she paid 5$ for the shoes and 7$ for the purse.
I'm seriously looking at the cashier and thinking to myself
"No this has got to be a joke"
Guess what Ruby..Its Not.

12 DOLLARS!! I'm seriously still not over it.

Do people not know what they are giving away?

All I can say is that, God, I wish I had her luck.

The September Cover of Glamour Magazine Shows Jessica Simpson in this Adorable Gucci Blazer.

Unfortunately Adorable is not always Affordable.

They are saying in the news that Canada's recession is over. I guess that could be true but people still don't have 500$ to spend on clothing. This year I'm recycling most of my clothes and just changing up the accessories. Fresh yet affordable. Although I am definetley buying one of these kawaii Sequin Blazers! There are some other cute sequined items that you can find elsewhere, and so much more affordable.
